Who do you say that I am? (About Me)

Now halfway through my Masters of Theology at Dallas Theological Seminary, I am someone who is always looking for ways to invite people into an encounter with God in Jesus Christ, through the Bible, literature, art, or simply the world around them. I have been married to my wonderful wife Michelle for almost six whole months! While I spend most of my time lost in thought, Michelle and I do enjoy cooking, baking, and bike rides in the sunshine in our new hometown of Dallas.

  1. Garrett! Bro! Sup? The Dark Boots poem reminds me a little of the one you wrote during the workshop with all the spontaneous emotion and graphic imagery. Prolific was a word we used, I think. Delightful. Now I get to see it all online and read your stuff MY way…slow and repetitively. 🙂 Thanks for the follow, man. Ciao!

    • Hey Scott! Thanks, that’s a good way to describe it. Emotional and graphic certainly flows right out of who I am. And prolific is a choice word to apply to most of what I write; I’m always terse as the questions churn in my mind until it all comes flooding out. I’m glad you get to read it more slowly here! I hope I see you around soon and I’m glad I have now found your site!
